When “school’s out for summer” we know finding summer camps in Sarasota & Manatee to keep the kids busy and cared for is on the top of every family’s to-do list. Children will get to participate in DANCE, MUSICAL THEATER, TUMBLING, and Arts and Crafts. Weekly themes are FUN and EXCITING and a show will be put on every Friday. Aftercare is also available!
Ages: 5-12yrs old
Camp Hours: 9:00am-2pm (doors open at 8:30am)
- $165 per week
- After Care Hours: 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm ($40 per week or $20 a day)
- Snacks will be provided. The child will need to bring a lunch
- $50 (non-refundable) Deposit is required per camp to hold a spot!
Exploring our community and experiencing new adventures is what Saint Stephen’s summer camps are all about! For kids VPK – 12th we dive into marine science, groom budding computer programmers and artists, cultivate athletic skills from tennis to surfing, and create mad scientists and burgeoning engineers. This world-class summer program (1:7 teacher:student ratio!) is the most comprehensive you’ll find, and it’s open to the entire community.
Join Starfish Academy this summer as they explore all the State of Florida has to offer. The Young Environmentalists Camp will focus on the natural environment of our home state. Students will explore the marine life found in the Gulf of Mexico, discover wildlife in the Everglades, camp in native sub-tropical forests and practice taking care of our land through conservation. Days will be filled with a variety of activities including art, science, cooking and water play.
The action-packed summer camps at Trautwein’s ATA Martial Arts are filled with fun activities! Camps include a daily martial arts lesson, breaking a REAL wood board, dodge ball, jumping competitions, indoor/outdoor obstacle course, bounce house/inflatable slides, Kona Ice, field day games, tons of team games, BINGO with prizes, pizza parties, and SO much more! Their 8,000 sq. ft. facility is safe and clean, and offers a cool reprieve from the heat of summer, with tons of space to do lots of awesome activities!
COVID-19 UPDATE: Arts A Blaze is Lakewood Ranch’s original pottery painting studio (located on Lakewood Main Street). Arts A Blaze Studio’s StArt Camp will begin June 1, and be offered to children age 6 and up every day 9-12pm and 1-4pm. Every themed week we will explore ceramics and a variety of crafts. We offer weekly and daily reservation options. Our first four weeks include Recycled Art, Nature Inspired Week, Ocean Life and Fairies, Moster, Make Believe! Due to the current health crisis we will be limiting each class to a maximum of 6 children.
Is your child in 2nd to 5th grade? Give them a summer of fun and adventure with The Bishop’s Summer Science Camp. These weekly camps are for curious kids who want to solve great mysteries, dive into the science of sharks, see how real scientists work, or even harness the power of electricity! Camps run from June 8 – July 17. Your curious adventurer can enjoy up to six weeks of camp with a different exploration each week. Campers will discover topics through games, crafts, and experiments.
COVID-19 UPDATE: Virtual Tech Camps are the perfect, home-based option for students ages 7-19 seeking the collaborative spirit of our on-campus programs. Structured, weeklong sessions with 2 hours of live instruction per day + 2 hours of self-paced project development. Curriculum in Python, Java, Minecraft, Roblox, AI, Unreal Engine, Adobe, 3D modeling, and more. 5 students max per instructor, blending personalized learning and team interaction. At Nathan Benderson Park’s Water Adventure Camp, learn to row, kayak, paddle, sail, canoe, fish and more! Or in the Discover Nature and Fishing Camp, choose to learn freshwater fishing with your own boat. Make friends and a lifetime of memories! COVID-19 UPDATE: Discover your child’s artistic home with FST’s Summer Theatre Camp! FST offers multiple three-week Camp sessions for youth ages 7 – 17 in Acting, Improv, Dance, and more, led by FST’s teaching staff of trained theatre professionals. Whether you’re interested in encouraging personal creativity and confidence or serious theatrical training, there is something for students of all interests and experience levels online this summer at FST.
COVID-19 UPDATE: We will be following the CDC guidelines, requesting adults to wear masks and to socially distance. And of course, we will be cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day, every day!
Day Camp – Bounce Camp/Child drop off is now available. Looking for a safe clean place for your kids to spend some time during this extended break? We’re here for you!! We are disinfecting and sanitizing throughout the facility all day long. Drop off your kids Monday to Friday, Flexible hours. 1/2 Day (4 hours) $30 | Full Day (8 huors) $60 | Weekly 1/2 Days $110 | Weekly Full Day $200. Additional hours $8 per hour
